Refund policy
Version 1 · updated 2026-10-06
Written in plain language and updated as the service grows. Questions: [email protected]
Your first payment for a paid plan can be refunded in full within 14 days, no reason needed. This page says exactly how that works.
1. The 14 day refund
If you pay for a Regular or Business plan and it is not what you wanted, ask for a refund within 14 days of that first payment and you will get all of it back, including the tax that was charged. You do not need to explain why.
2. Renewals
Paid plans renew every month until you cancel. A renewal payment is not refunded, because you can cancel at any time before it is taken: cancel in the billing portal and you keep your plan until the end of the period you already paid for. If a renewal was taken by mistake, for example you cancelled and were charged anyway, write to us and we will put it right.
3. Reports you have already written
Reports written while you were on a paid plan stay yours, and you can still export them, even if you are refunded. We may decline a refund request when it is clearly an abuse of this policy, for example repeated paid sign ups and refunds to collect reports. We will tell you why if we do.
4. How to ask
Write to [email protected] from the email address on your account, within the 14 days. Our payment provider, Paddle, is the seller of record and issues the refund to the payment method you used. Banks differ, but it usually reaches you within a few business days. Paddle also lets you request a refund directly, from the receipt it emailed you.
5. The free plan, and failed reports
The free plan costs nothing, so there is nothing to refund. A report that fails before it is written does not count against your allowance (see the Terms of service).
6. Your legal rights
This policy adds to your rights under the law where you live and never limits them. If the law gives you a longer or stronger right to a refund, that right applies.
